Council establishes Call Centre

Blantyre City Council has become the first local authority in Malawi to establish a call centre with toll free lines as a platform for receiving feedback from residents.

The Call Centre was established in fulfillment of the commitment in the Service Charter to provide several media of communication between the Council and the residents.

With support from WASTE Advisors, which has donated computer set, printer and swivel chairs to be used by call centre agents, residents can access the Council through 526 for all networks (TNM, Airtel and MTL).
