Blantyre City Teachers Awards Ceremony 2024.

As one way of demonstrating its commitment in improving education standards in the City and motivating its hard-working teachers, Blantyre City Council organized another Teachers Awards Ceremony for the year 2024. It is an annual event which honors the best performing teachers with various prizes.  During this year’s event, the Council awarded the best performing teachers from all the six zones in the City as part of inspiring and appreciating their outstanding services as best teachers in the City.

Speaking during the event, the Chief Executive Officer for Blantyre City Council, Mr. Dennis Chinseu, emphasized that teachers play a crucial role in the society as they prepare the younger generation to face the future with courage and outstanding knowledge.

This event underscored the critical role teachers play in shaping the future by, among others, instilling knowledge and moral values in students and fostering motivation and dedication within the education sector. Let us unite to strengthen primary education in Blantyre and across Malawi in order to empower the future generations for a brighter tomorrow.
