Management commits to quality service delivery

In an effort to improve service delivery, management team signed a Performance Management Agreement with the Chief Executive Officer.

This is a commitment which is in tandem with the recently launched Blantyre City Council Service Charter which aims at achieving excellency in the municipal service delivery.

Chief Executive Officer Dr Alfred Chanza emphasized on the need for dedication and commitment towards work urging Directors to be vigilant in making sure all members of staff adhere to the standards set in the Charter.

The Council has eight departments headed by Directors which include Commerce and Industry, Financial Services, Administrative Services, Education, Health and Social Services, Engineering Services, Town Planning and Estates Services and Leisure, Culture and Environmental Services.
